KEVIN SORBO IS DISAPPOINTED

KEVIN SORBO IS DISAPPOINTED http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=_O1hM-k3aUY&feature=player_ embedded Kevin Sorbo says he's disappointed about not being in his own world, but by looking at him, you wouldn't know it. You'd think he's outraged, maybe. Or confused about exactly how he should feel. That might be because he apparently read the script character direction of "disappointed" and shouted it as a real line. And the director kept it, because it is awesome. Here's how I imagine this shoot taking place. Kevin: What is my character's motivation? Director: Well, if you take a look at the script -- Kevin: Gotcha. Say no more. After... Director: Kevin, I don't mean to tell you how to do your job, because I'm only the director, but you just read a character direction as a line of dialogue... Kevin: I did...? Really? ....DISAPPOINTED! Director: You're right, I love it, don't get upset! We'll use it, you're great. Kevin: GRATITUDE ...

KURT BRAUNOHLER'S WORLD WILD OF ANIMALS

KURT BRAUNOHLER'S WORLD WILD OF ANIMALS http://youtu.be/bGglE1bOXa8 We as humans have a finite capacity for knowledge. We don't know a whole lot of stuff about ourselves or our world, and we know even less about the animal world. Some might even say we ourselves are animals, that the true "animals" are us. Not me, though. Before the internet, we knew almost nothing about anything. Then came Wikipedia, where people can make up their own facts about stuff, and we know a little more. And now there's Kurt Braunohler, who makes up facts about animals that we didn't know before. And now we know a lot less.  When it comes to fake facts, my favorite are the ones that sound somewhat real, or the ones that really make you think. Like, "dolphins have tattoos of slutty chicks on their lower backs," and pointing out the startling truth that, even with human-level intelligence, dolphins "did nothing to stop the Holocaust." It's sad, but undeniably ...

THIS DOG

THIS DOG  http://youtu.be/OgrZ5Dtsi-E I'm not big on animal videos, unless the animals are cute and doing something funny. Those are my requirements... Or if they're kinda ugly-cute, and doing something dumb. Or making funny sounds. Or just not doing anything on camera for a while. But those are my only requirements, and they're very strict. It limits my animal video intake to a lean 3,000 per day.  This dog... is... a lil tickle automaton. It almost looks like a live action game of Operation, where any place you poke it will make a weird buzzer sound, only in this game the buzzer sound means you got it right. The trick is, you can't get it wrong. This dog was born to be poked so it could make the sound it makes and the face it makes when it's making the sound it makes. Nature is simple like that.

KRISTEN SCHAAL IS A HORSE

KRISTEN SCHAAL IS A HORSE http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=ZUkixWUJzPE If you had to ask me what I think is funny, I'd have a hard time explaining it. If, in this continuing interview of me by you, you asked me why I think this particular sketch is funny, I'd have a hard time explaining that too. And if, in this thing that went from a good natured Q&A to a downright interrogation, you kept pressing the matter, I guess I'd just have to say that this is funny because it makes me laugh. Yes, it's bizarre, and yes, it's a lot of yelling. And yes, its commentary on how a bill becomes a law is both flawed and utterly depraved. But it's funny. And in an America where this and that have happened, damnit, isn't that all that matters anymore? Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schaal have been comedy partners for something like 10 or 38 years, I'm not really sure, but for a while. This video is from years ago, and they're still coming up with insane sketches tha...
