If you had to ask me what I think is funny, I'd have a hard time explaining it. If, in this continuing interview of me by you, you asked me why I think this particular sketch is funny, I'd have a hard time explaining that too. And if, in this thing that went from a good natured Q&A to a downright interrogation, you kept pressing the matter, I guess I'd just have to say that this is funny because it makes me laugh. Yes, it's bizarre, and yes, it's a lot of yelling. And yes, its commentary on how a bill becomes a law is both flawed and utterly depraved. But it's funny. And in an America where this and that have happened, damnit, isn't that all that matters anymore?


Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schaal have been comedy partners for something like 10 or 38 years, I'm not really sure, but for a while. This video is from years ago, and they're still coming up with insane sketches that are insanely funny at their weekly show in NYC, but this single sketch is the foundation of what I like about them and what I like about live comedy. I guess, in a way, it shows me what I like about myself. I, too, am a horse. No, I'm not. But I love to dance.
